This is an American term referring to American beers. There are two requirements to fall under what’s called “domestic beer”: It needs to be produced in America…and it needs to be produced in one of the large breweries. Basically were talking Budweiser, Miller, and Coors. There are others that qualify because there is no specific number, it’s just a generalization as to “large breweries”. When you look at the beers available in a bar, the cheapest beers and the specials they run are usually “domestics”.
